Particularly to take note of:
1. Hubspot – It abolished Stat holidays for its employees in exchange for 3-weeks holidays every year.
Result? Employees are much more motivated to work and they’re working over the weekend to get things done.
2. Behance – It acknowledged that meetings are often time consuming and fruitless. Therefore it implemented a measurement to evaluate a meeting by the # of actionable items by the end of the meeting. If there was none, the meeting was not necessary.
3. Happy Computers – The CEO set goals ” and doesn’t dictate how his staff meet them.” He said, the only roadblock to innovation is management.
